Dryer update: Finally a service guy that works in the area a Texas where we will be next. So I call. The guy will not make an appointment for service since "Something else might come up"?!?!? What does that say to you. Other calls are more important than mine...and when am I supposed to call to make the appointment???? No he might "work me in" some time...not a good feeling on this one.
The next call was back to customer service. I now have a service manual on the way. There is an awfully good chance that Rod and I will end up troubleshooting and fixing this thing ourselves. The aggravation is just becoming more than I can stand!!
Texas Food: There is a restaurant in the next town that serves all you can eat country fried steak with the trimmings for $1.75 for Tuesday lunch. In four hours they serve probably 2500 people. So, we went for lunch today. It was descent food...although, I consumed enough grease at that one meal to last at least the next month...maybe more.
To end our stay along the Texas coast, we went to the shore of the bay this afternoon. This is what we saw. Quite an ending for "quite a day"
