New Experience

Traveled today from Beaumont to Galveston Texas. The route took us on a ferry rather than across a bridge. What a trip!! We never believed the camper would fit so easily on the boat!! Easily was not the word for it.





Chester did not like the experience at all. He burrowed UNDER the blanket and towels that I pad the bottom of his cage with. He peaked out only once. We think it was his reaction to the sensation of motion without the truck moving. Actually, it was a little wired for us too.

We are all fine now in a park right on the water. We are on a bay rather than on the Gulf. It's nicer since the Gulf is really rough and churning with the winter winds. We will enjoy our stay after this rain tonight quits shaking us. We have not had one like this in a while. Nothing scary...just enough to catch our attention!
