Thursday...a great day. Complete with an evening of Christmas shopping. Special shopping for each other. Dinner out at the mall. The rush of other shoppers. A great evening.
Friday...Breakfast out...no there is not much to do around here on an average day...more shopping and the necessity of nails...three hours of nails. Oh well, that's what it takes when you prefer to wait for one certain person.
Saturday...The Thompson Christmas celebration. Children..food..a beautiful day. Lots of fun visiting, eating and playing. Then, more shopping. Tis the season..right!?!?
We leave here tomorrow for points south. We are headed to New Orleans with reservations at a park just outside the city on Monday. We are meeting friends there and are planning for a wonderful week. Besides a riverboat dinner cruise on Cristmas Eve, we plan to attend a Cajun cooking class and take a walking tour of the French Quarter. Sometime during the week, we hope to relax and work a little...yes, work will be relaxing compared to everything else going on. There should be lots of great photos next week.
We hope to beat the weather out tomorrow. The low tonight is predicted at 29 degrees...that means we'll get to about 35. Tomorrow's high here is predicted at 35 degrees...with snow. I plan to be well south of here by then. I just hope the cold air does not follow us that far!!
