Believe it or not, we do things other than build our house. Today we attended the Black Hills Stock Show. I have never seen Black Angus cows that looked like they were covered in black velvet...deep pile black velvet. They were absolutely gorgeous!!
Then off to the other vendors with much more glitz and glitter on the clothing than I remember from when I was in the show circuit. Ads for horses costing as much as $9,000...and I think that is a moderate price!! One too many zeroes for me!
This evening was spent watching regional sheep dog trials. What a performance. We have seen such competitions on TV; but, seeing this in person, hearing the commands of the handler and feeling the excitement of the event made it much more fun. I would recommend this for everyone. It was definitely a good value for the $20 it cost to get in.
Back to work tomorrow. Lots of electrical work awaits. Moving day is close at hand.
