Food...Food...Food 

Today seemed to be a day of new foods and discoveries about foods.  I discovered that my life-long favorite, Pasta, does not sit well with me any longer. 
 
The "Spaghetti Bender" as I was known to my mother in my youth turns into the "Depressed...Whiney...Self-Centered...B????" now after too much of that stuff.  I guess Oprah was right when she said that women this age should steer clear of white food.  Pasta should be on the top of that list...it is for me.
 
We discovered bison meat today.  Boy was that good.  It's like the best beef you ever had.  Finally, "beef" with flavor again.  This will become a regular part of our menu.  I would recommend it to anyone...at every opportunity.
 
Laundry this afternoon did not go well.  The dryer ate one quarter then the clothes did not dry with the quarters I had left...A trip back to the camper for more change!! I couldn't believe that I went without the entire change purse.
 
Working is fun.  We have met some really interesting people and learned a lot from them.  They include Mr Wise of Wise Potato Chips and several "cowboys" on their way to the Rodeo Finals for High School kids in Gillette, WY.  We may have to follow that second crowd.. really nice folks!!
 
Off to work the late shift tonight.

PS:  It does know how to be summer here.  Temps are in the 90s during the day...but still in the 60s at night.  Humidity...maybe 40%..if it's going to rain.  It may be hot; but at least it's not sticky.
