Clyde and Nancy joined us Saturday night to help give Helen a good send off. Nancy brought a turtle cake... chocolate cake with caramel sauce and peanuts... yum.
The next day I was washing the cake pan and noticed all the scratches in it. Nancy talks about all the church events and family gatherings this pan has visited... filled with wonderful cakes. There is a lot of love in those scratches.
It may not be new... but it can tell stories we can only imagine.
