Usually worth the price

"You get what you pay for" has become our mantra lately. Our software is competing with others that are free. So many people thing free is absolutely the best.

I fell for the "it's cheaper than the other" ploy the other day. This time of year car washes make a fortune. The first few pretty days after several days of snow with no other on the way for a while, makes it necessity to get all the gunk off the car. Usually by this time, you cannot see out the windows any longer.

Well I have a favorite car wash. It does a really good job. But wait.. Free car wash with only 5 gallons of gas... what a deal. First, the wash was discounted... not free, and the line was an hour long... not worth the wait. The ticket is good for a month. I'll try again later. So, I found another... a buck less than the one I usually use. Great!! After a 30 minute wait I discovered it was only a spray wash... no good. My car was almost worse after the wash than before... grrr.

So, now I know. It's my favorite wash or nothing. It's worth every penny!!

Even in car washes... you get what you pay for.
