This one again was like Livorno... only worst. There were 7 cruise ships in port on the same day. That's 20,000 (no misprint, yes, that's 20 THOUSAND) tourists in port at one time. All of them trying to get to Rome.
We hid. Realized that lots of people use the cruise ship as a luxary hotel with all the amenities. So we did too today... Reading... sunning... eating (can't beat free food). Easier on the feet today!
Did not like this place... just too crowded... and you thought Sturgis week was busy!!
