So as for Friday and Saturday. Paul rented a lift to work on removing trees from his yard. The trick was keeping one of them off the house and out of the surrounding Dogwoods.

This thing reached up 2+ stories to help him get to the top of the tress. Paul went you to do the cutting and we stayed on the ground giving instructions...isn't that just what a project needs...one worker and three supervisors...sounds like a State job to me. Anyway, even with two women and one man telling him what to do, Paul got the job done with no damage to the house and only little damage to the other trees...nothing fatal. This is the result of his labors.

To tell the truth...it seemed that he was having way too much fun! Big kid toys.
With rain in the forecast for any moment, the day ended with this sight...
... Power poles and lines are just a part of life around here. You learn to look past them rather than at them...anyway...with this scene, you wonder about the weather forecaster...about par I guess. Saturday dawned beautiful with plenty of time for more tasks. Paul's kids showed up to help leaving Rod and I to work on projects around here...you would never know so much could be done to a camper. These projects involved organizing the little things we have to carry with us...and can never find or that you have to move to get to something else...all the time!! We already have two of some things that we could not find when we needed them. Velcro, bungies, a few screws and a couple of clips later and we are organized.
Chester had the right idea for both days. He just lazed the day away perched on my desk. At times I was jealous. A nap in the sun would have been nice!
