It's always amazing how fast the weeks go. I thought this happened only when you were working everyday for someone else. The stress and routine seemed to always make the weeks go really fast. Well the same is true now...is this a sign that we are still working too much???
The most fun I have had this week was derived by putting my bird feeder up. This is the second time a feeder has been in this location. Although several months passed between the first and second hanging, the birds found it right away this time. It is Grand Central Station out there this morning with 5 Blue Jays, numerous Sparrows...you could not count Sparrows if you wanted to...and several others. There is even a chipmunk stuffing his face out there. This is all within 20 feet of the cat. Brave birds!!
Other than the birds, things have been fairly quiet this week. Lots more work on our programs have moved them closer to completion...Thank goodness...I'm looking forward to the next project.
Well, there was a little excitement the other day...it looks like we're going to South Dakota again this summer. There is a strange excitement in both of us about spending the summer working a Happy Holiday again. I guess it was just that much fun. We are scheduled to arrive in mid-April and stay until at least mid-August. I guess we'll do our Pacific Northwest traveling in the Fall...maybe.
We're making all our plans for the trip to Florida next week. Looking forward to seeing family and celebrating Helen's accomplishments.
