We actually ventured out from behind our computers yesterday for a couple of projects that needed doing.
The first on the camper went well...and involved only one trip to Lowes for a part after I finished ruining the original. Boy, I sure did not know a bolt could strip out like that.
The fun of this job was when I first climbed onto the roof. There was quite a commotion in the woods adjacent to the camper. I thought little of is since there are lots of animals around here and it was going away from me..always a good sign. Well, once on the roof, I looked over into the woods just in time to see a rather large deer moving away. Had it not been for that white tail, I would never have seen it. Makes you wonder why God put the white tail when the rest of the coloring blends into the woods so well.
The second was a fencing project. Sue's mother has a new puppy..a 1 pound miniature poodle and needed a fence for here back yard. That project went well and involved only one trip to Lowes...we're doing better. The yard is now secure for the puppy to run and explore.
Mexican food for dinner at a restaurant that used to be our favorite. That Jalisco style in Texas really spoiled us. No other Mexican style is as good any more. Or well...all for the best. That gives us fewer calories to deal with!!
A trip to Walmart and an evening of movies completed a relaxing Saturday. Now it's back to work. Dayton will be here before I know it and there is still LOTS to be done!!
