Happy Easter
This day dawned bright and sunny...again. I was able to enjoy having my first coffee while basking in the rays of the early morning sun...don't be impressed..early morning for me is at least 8:00. This was a very peaceful time. The clouds moved in a little later and now it is raining....a nice Spring rain. It will help to keep all the flowers in bloom...Spring has definitely sprung around here.
An interesting waitress at a Waffle House breakfast. She had sparkles beside her eyes...seemed like she had not removed last night's makeup. She also seemed surprised when wished Happy Easter.
The waitress at Chilie's lunch had a pierced tongue. She was enthused by the Happy Easter wishes...and somewhat surprised. I worried about here tongue ring knocking against her teeth.
Then there is Nancy at Southerns'..several other days of the week. She works smart instead of hard. Calmly she just gets the job done. It was really nice to learn of her new grandbaby that is due in a few weeks...felt like part of the family getting to know that.
I admire waitresses. While most cutomers are easy and fun to work with, I know from working with the public that some can be quite challenging. May for one day they all have easy orders and pleasant customers.
I've tried to pay more attention to the people that come and go everyday. They can be a really interesting mix. It's definitely the people who keep the day interesting.
