Success...

You would think that with as much as I work with computers that all things would be easy. Well I'm here to tell you, that is a terrible misconception. I think that's what makes working with the computer interesting. There is always something new to figure out.

Generally with the product that we sell, the "brains" of this partnership gets stuck with figuring out all the fixes...well until now. I write the help files for the product. In the last several that we released, the help file ceased to work. After several customer complaints, the issue fell squarely on my shoulders.

To keep things interesting, I was in the middle of changing computers and with that change, the program I use to create help files. So now, I had to not only figure out the problem; but also figure out the new program. This was a CHALLENGE!!

Well with a little fanageling, which I was determined would not include retyping the entire help file..and it didn't, I have the problem solved. The working files will be distributed today!!! YEA!!!

This is a big deal for me. I'm bad about not staying with something that threatens to be this difficult...but I was growing tired of the phone calls...since I have to take those too!!

All this said, there is still lots of work to be one to finish the corrections on the rest of the files. I'm just glad to have the solution..and to know more about this new program...then I can go out and play for a while!!

Or...maybe I deserve one of these...or...
