Have I said that before?!?!? Well, I can really tell it this time when I could not even remember the sight address. Is it me... time passing... or just plain forgetfulness. Take your pick.
So, to catch up... as usual.
Memorial Day weekend flew by. As a side note, I can't believe next week is July 4th ALREADY... and I used to think that summer was long... right.
Nancy and I will see each other two days this month. Between her working at EJ and vacations, our paths barely cross. That makes it busy at work... yes, Nancy, it's busy for us too when you are not there. So with getting back from Dayton and getting ready for Dallas, things are hopping at work.
So, the weekend after Dayton is Memorial Day... then we have the next weekend with house projects that are finally getting done... then on Wednesday we fly to the show... and you wonder why I don't blog... right... and you think I feel guilty... try me!!
The Dallas show was well worth it. The dollars are always nice to offset the expenses. Actually, Dallas was better than Orlando and we were really happy with Orlando. In addition, Neil Sims returned to my life. The Universe worked really hard to get this done. Let me break this down for you...
Ted and Carolyn asked me and Rod to dinner in Dallas... I asked Jim since he is friends with Ted and Carolyn... Neil called Jim since Neil has been out of the business for eleven years and, well, Jim is the only person Neil stays in touch with. (BTW, there are neither Ted nor Alice in this story...).
When Jim mentioned that he was invited to dinner with Rod and Karin, Neil took it from there. I got a call on Tuesday from Neil. I could not believe it. After eleven years and all because I asked Jim to dinner...
Turned out it was a WONDERFUL time. The Universe was not finished with me yet. Through Neil I met Leigh Ann from Castle Rock, CO. Leigh Ann helps teach executives how to interview... really. This is help I can really use!!! So, she was off to Hawaii and I was off to Germany. I'll call her... after the 4th (already!!!)
