Finally....

Let me be the first to tell you...Blogger does not play nicely with IE 8. It took me almost 10 days to get signed back in. In the words of Mosaic Mom...GRRRR And of course, there is no going back. That will teach me to work with a Beta copy!!!

So what has been up in 10 days you ask...well even if you didn't.


We had company from Alabama. Friends for almost 20 years, Van and Carolyn went from south Alabama to the Arctic Circle. Roamed around Alaska for a few month then stopped here on their way home. Safe traveling to you.

We have been working hard on the new building. We really want to be in before the first snow. The first concrete pour is tomorrow. Of course we are not ready...what makes you think we would be...it's not the last minute yet!!! It will be an early day tomorrow getting the last of the details ready. I'll post photos once we're done. With this it will really begin to look like something.

Rod's Birthday on the 14th. Happy Birthday Sweetie!!!

Squash bread in the freezer. You're right Sister Dear, it gets better with age.
More squash and tomatoes from the garden. Now it produces...it's confused!!

Beautiful Fall weather mixed with Indian summer to fill the days with anticipation of the winter to come...although we can't tell by the signs what this winter will be like...guess we have not been here long enough yet; but, we plan to be until we have full understanding of all the signs.
