Let's see...
More squash bread. The squash plants finally realize they were supposed to produce and they did. The fridge is full of squashes. The breads are wonderful. The plants were lost to the snow...yes snow...today.
Then there were dishes to wash, laundry to wash dry and fold...not that it made it to the drawers or closet...orders to send (what economic crisis!!)...customers with problems to solve (and some were doozies)...and a dog and cat and husband to keep happy.
In between all of that, we poured concrete last Friday...on Monday (that means we built all the forms over the weekend), then again on Friday (we seem to like this Friday thing). This is what the building looks like so far...
Kind of a strange design...but it will work for us. Oh yes, let's not forget redoing the web page at www.boxcanyon.org, organizing a mailing and organizing a community wide meeting for next Saturday...along with worrying about Mother and what's going on in LaGrange.
Now is that excuse enough for not keeping the blog up to date???
Off to LaGrange tomorrow. Don't expect to hear from me for another 10-12 days...
