I patiently explained that I do not do yeast breads. That I was having no luck with them here in the Hills. But..leave it to me, I always answer a call for help. So...this evening, I created a yeast bread coffee cake with apples, raisins and nuts as the filling...sounds good...hope it is.
The photo is of the bread before it was baked. It rose again before baking. It was almost as large as the pan (12 x 20) when it went in the oven. It is so big it is a joke; but it is my very first try and I think it is worth entering. I will glaze it in the morning then take it to the fair. It may look funny; but I'm proud of my very first attempt!!!
