The first one this morning ended up with egg shells in it. I was always told that you should not crack the eggs into the bowl with the mixer running. Guess what...that is GREAT advice!!
The second one baked well. Looked great when it came from the oven. Then came out of the pan in two pieces...the top and the bottom. Being an apricot pound cake with pumpkin pie spices, it tasted great...it just looked terrible.
So, three was the charm. This is what came out of the oven about an hour ago.... I think I will enter it and see how it goes.
Now, on to the pound cake, applesauce bread and maybe a squash bread....maybe just the applesauce bread. I'll let you know how it goes.
