The show for the senior project was a very nice event. After an afternoon of panic, all went well that evening. Family intervention for food preparation helped things run a little more smoothly.
Helen's senior project was a wonderful, creative, free form sculpture. I think of what my sister said of her recommendation for planning the project, "Do several smaller pieces rather than one large one. Then if something goes wrong with one of them you're still covered." I think that idea was taken to the max in the design.
The piece is called "+/-214". It seems to be a very appropriate name. Congratulations Helen on a successful show. May this be the first of many.
