It has snowed on us today. The wind is blowing badly enough that my monitor is shaking on my desk. There has been a little sun; but when it was not snowing, it has been raining. The temperature has not been above 41 degrees. Get the picture. It's a great day for us to stay indoors.
Then there are the Robins and the other birds that inhabit this area. They are all busily bathing in the puddles created by the rain. Then finishing the job on top of a rail in the blowing wind. Feathers are being blown backwards...but they don't seem to notice.
I'm glad for the birds. If I had to live out in the cold, I'd like to not notice it too.
The orange-cranberry muffins are done. They are also a great addition to a cold day.
