Now that it has been a week since you heard from me, I thought I'd catch you up all at once. Believe me, you did not want to hear from me last week. Things seem better now. If the Bloggs continue, you'll know that things stayed better.
Most days were spent working. My customer likes the program that I'm working on; however he says that there are issues...as I expected. He has not sent his list yet; but my list keeps growing. I was working on one of them in my head at 2:00AM last night...sounds like the man I live with...now I know where this comes from. The trick is remembering what you figured out during the night.
RT has been busy and the cell coverage bad. This makes for lots of frustration. Things got better yesterday with an outside antenna...YEA!! At least we can all hear each other now.
Went to Austin on Friday. I repeat..THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DRIVE IN THIS STATE...and in Austin, they do it REALLY FAST !!! It was scary. We attended a Log home show. Lots of good information and luckily...little to buy. We came away with only two book...books are always allowed. Eventually well gather enough information to make a good choice on this. For now, there is no hurry.
Entered a chili cookoff on Saturday here in the park. I wanted to show off my meatless chili. Chickened out at the last minute...this is Texas. Surely chili must include meat to be acceptable. What was I thinking.
It is really cold here. Lows and highs in the 40s. We have missed our walks and bike rides the last few days. With the overcast skies and the snow to the west of us, I expect to see snow here any time now. Hopefully the sun will win out in the next few days.
Off to shopping today. Either into San Antonio or Uvalde. Both about equal distance. San Antonio is a city of 50+ thousand. Uvalde might have 10K if they're lucky...not much choice ... until you factor in traffic.
