Or at least we did on Monday...631 miles to be exact. We decided to leave the park in Texas a few days early and Rod was in the mood to drive. We made it from Hondo, Texas (40 miles west of San Antonio) to Gulfport, Mississippi in one day. That was 9:30AM until 9:12PM with only three stops: and they were short. Rod told me that if we did not already have reservations in Biloxi that he would have driven on...like I said, in the mood to drive.
We are in a park in Biloxi, Mississippi with reservations for a week. It is a nice enough park; however, the sites are really close. Folks seem friendlier here. I just wish it would stop raining!!
I continue to have success with the program I'm working on...you talk about your hobbies: well, this one is mine. The person I am writing this for is happy with it too. That is comforting. It looks like I'll make the March 22 deadline... deadline... deadline... I haven't had a deadline since I left my job a year and a half ago... This is a strange concept.
It will be quiet for the next week as we catch up and finish projects. Then it's on to Atlanta for a few days...really strange, we left Atlanta just about this time last year...and then to Charlotte, NC for a show. I just hope it does not snow on us in Charlotte!!
