As we grow older, people around us don't seem so old.
Twenty extra pounds still looks pretty good...for our age.
It's 5 miles to town and that's a long way...in Atlanta, it was that far to the end of the subdivision.
Briefs are better than bikinis...they don't shift over those extra 20 pounds.
17 degrees is warm...30 degrees lets you go without a coat...this is wonderful considering the high yesterday was 1...the day before it was -5 (yes, that was the high...you don't want to know the lows).
Happiness is sunshine and weather warm enough (20 degrees or so) to walk to the top of the hill...it doesn't take much these days.
