A quiet time spent between Christmas and the New Year celebration. As always it's hard to believe that another year has slipped away. Even our "quiet" days seem to pass quickly until weeks and months are gone with wonders of where they went and what did we get done!!
Highlights....
March - 80th birthday celebration in LaGrange.
May - Emergency trip to Huntsville...Blizzard the day of returning home...out to Europe the next day.
Summer - Cool. First garden. Lots to learn like you need more than a 3 foot fence to keep the deer out.
August - County Fair. First time ever. Prizes won...great experience gained.
Fall - New construction. Emergency trip to the South for us both.
November/December - Very cold here. Temps below 0 for daytime highs. This cold I can live without...so can everybody else. This is not what we live here for. The good of it was a white Christmas. Made for a very pretty scene.
And now a New Year. May it bring health and prosperity to us all.
