Snow is like company. You enjoy it's arrival then shortly, can't wait for it to leave. I can't wait until this snow is out of here!!
New friends and old friends were a part of our lives today. Rod went with Don, our new friend, to an auction and while Rod missed out on some really good buys (Bush Hog mower for $100.00) Don snagged a skidsteer and trailer that he has been wanting. After the purchase, Don was glad that Rod was there. Rod had the trailer hitch that fit the new trailer and straps to secure the equipment to the trailer. Don would have been in for about 150 mile round trip had it not been for Rod.
A conversation with a customer from Punta Gorda, Florida lead me to a friend I lost touch with over three years ago. Being an older gentleman, I worried often about him. Today I learned that Guice is still living in Punta Gorda and doing well. I have sent him an e-mail and hope to hear back from him soon. It is so nice to think that I have found him again.
