Now that the footings are down and set, we are working on the forms for the foundation walls. This is fun. These things are light weight but big enough that they go together easily. You can see by the photos that this work is progressing quickly. If we pushed, we could pour the walls tomorrow..but we are not pushing quite that hard. Next week will be soon enough as there are still many things to do for this to really be ready.
While setting the forms for the walls we found that the house grew by a foot in both directions. I guess we knew that we would make mistakes. We just never expected this. Luckily, the wall production was postponed. We can still make this correction...YEA!!
