When we arrived at our new office I found the walls and carpet to be the wrong color. I was VERY disappointed to say the least. Thought I had no recourse since I discovered this while moving in.
Luckily, the painters had left behind a bucket of paint. There was no formula label on it. It was obviously builders white... not what I wanted.
The builder offered to repaint the hallway. I jumped at the chance to have it done. The painting was done today. The walls are now a pleasant shade of off-white with a generous helping of green. It's an interesting color.
Although it was difficult working around the painters, it was well worth it!! I can't believe how calming the space is now. It's almost like a cartoon where when you're in one room and there is LOTS of confusion and noise then you open or close a door and everything is peaceful. The peace is almost audible!!!
You can believe that Rod and I will be spending weekends getting the rest of the offices painted. The difference is really worth it.
BTW... although the carpet is the wrong color, everything still goes together. It is SOOOO much better!!
