I think the song refers to Alabama... but we're in Colorado now.The move is complete. It was done in two stages... late September we moved the office and bare essentials of the house. Last weekend, we finished office things and moved the rest of the things from the house that we planned to bring.... the rest we sold.
Been only to one household auction. this was way different. I was amazed. Our object was to get everything to people who wanted and would use it. That worked well for everything except the camper and the tractor!! Nothing like leaving the biggest elephants in the room. We're still working on those.
So, the apartment here is coming along. A little cramped compared to the house; but comfortable. The animals are settling in well. Notice Lacey on her bed at the window. She's funny. She stands guard at that window all day then sleeps soundly once we get home.
That's the life!!!
