I live in such a quagmire at Christmas. As much as I love the holiday with the beautiful decorations, the friendliness, I hate the demands on my time and the extra work it takes to get work done... remember, I run a mail order business that ships via US Mail (we're up to about 20 minutes in line every day now!!).
A friend found just thing for me.
I wore it to the post office the other day. Don't know if it was the hat... had them fooled thinking I was being Christmasy.... or.... it was the wording... they thought I was a real grouch... but, people seemed to be extra nice. One man opened a door for me. Another picked up a dropped package that I was nudging along with my foot.
Whatever motivated them, I want to say Thank you for taking time to care and show that you do. I hope your reward was as satisfying for you.
