It was an interesting trip home....
After walking to the LAST concourse in the Atlanta airport... what a hike... I enjoyed a breakfast of a vegetable Stromboli and coffee... YUM!!! I was surprised the lunch places were open so early.
At the gate, I was met with this sight..
I almost wanted to ask "Where do you think you're going?!?!?" Talk about parking close. The flight into Detroit was a first. If you ever get a chance, take a leg into Detroit and sit by the window. The view of Lake Erie and the houses on the shoreline is breathtaking.
The Detroit airport is not bad either. Of all things... a train right there inside. First thought... great way to beat the snow.

On the Minneapolis... yea sushi for lunch!! Do love that airport's food.
The weather got warmer and I traveled north. I left Atlanta at 30 degrees and arrived in Rapid City to a balmy 75 degrees... in November... go figure.
Glad to be home. Two weeks is a long time to be away.
