The Dept of Ag haws been cutting trees in the area for several years now. With this last snow still on the ground, I guess now was the time to start burning.l Unfortunately, lots of the piles were on the property behind us.
We came home last night to open fires... a little scary in the dark. Tonight we were greeted by smoke. To make things worse, we are in a weather inversion that keeps the air still and the smoke on the ground. I could use some wind about now!!!
I guess when you live in the woods you endure forest management... whatever form it takes.
