We have a "roost-key" that visits us every morning these days...that's a turkey that gobbles at the sun right at sun up...even on cloudy days.
I know all too well that the sun breaks the horizon at about 5:15AM. My friend makes sure that I don't miss it...do you know how LOUD a turkey can be when it's close? This one gets started about 20 feet from the bedroom window and continues as he (or she) comes closer...and gets louder!!
We also have...or had...a mouse in the house. Anna and the mouse had a rousing game of chase the other night about 12:30 AM. I hope the mouse had the good sense to leave after it survived the game. I fear retribution while we're gone for two weeks!!
