Good work days

We are moving along on the house. In just a few days...between raindrops, wind, and tutoring...we have finished the decking that will support the radiant floor heat system and the first of the "sister joists" (the support system that will hold the real floor decking and give space for the tubing).

Anyway...we finished the rim joist in one day. This is the first job we have completed in only one day. It was quite an eye opener. It seems that the house is more in square than we thought. No surprise over 3/8 inch...we can adjust for that.

The floor is level too. The rain last night did not pool on the decking ...anywhere! We're proud of what we've done.
