Installation of the septic system is going well. It seems like a big system with 200 feet of drain field required. We are using a system that is easier to work with than regular pipe and gravel. This is the first trench. The other should be finished tomorrow. Now if we could just figure out how everything gets connected together we'll have this project finished.
Rock was encountered in the foundation and in the drain field. Here is Rod with the jackhammer making it possible for the backhoe to dig out the rock. This is really hard work. I know. I tried it too!!
It's slow and it's hard...but it will be really worth it in the end.
