Oh Adel... as much as I did not stay in touch during so many years, I always knew you were there.
You were there for my first wedding. I have a photo of you looking so lovely that day.
You were there when I spread my wings and flew off to Atlanta four years later. You were there with so many wise words during those years. You truly shared wisdom that surpassed all understanding. I know of only one other person ever described in that way.
You lived in the power of the Lord. You never hid the Light that radiated from you. Even as the years were not kind to your body, you stood firm in your belief that the Lord still had things to do through you. I can only hope to ever be as strong in my faith as you always were.
They say that angels walk among us. Knowing you let me know how true that statement is. You remain in my heart although you no longer remain in this world. I will miss you.
