on several fronts.
First, Chester ate 1.5 cans of cat food tonight. He really ate it. Didn't just lick the juice off of it. I was glad to see it. I guess he's just a case of extremes these days. He looks much improved tonight. That twinkle is back in his eye... watch out!!
Second, wiring for the surface mount equipment and oven went well today. A little rough at the beginning as we discussed placement of outlets, switches and price. The work went well once that was all settled. The electrician was very competing. Even he was surprised when he addressed the box and the power went off in the entire building. All you could hear was me saying "You could have warned us!!". Well he would have if he had known there was a bare wire in the box... surprise!! Turns out this work will be good for everyone. The box is so poorly wired that it poses a fire hazard. I trust the landlord will see the importance of making those repairs right away!!
Third... rice crispy treats... the improvement was the reduction in cereal. much chewier than usual. Very good for a first try... yes really! I never made these thing before.
Fourth.. weather. Snow is gone. Cold is gone. Sun is out and will be for several days. Highs to 60 degrees next week. It will seem hot!! A good time to get the office finished and everything moved!!
Tomorrow's list includes primering... painting... and in general getting the walls ready to lay carpet. Hope the space is ready for us on Sunday. Then we can get everything moved... and back to work. This is distracting!!
