Spent two hours with the eye doctor today. Never expected the appointment to take 2 hours!!!
Nothing special... just adjustment to glasses... stronger as I age.
This time, however, things were different. I have been having trouble with double vision. Little did I know that when you say "double vision" to a physician, you better be ready for a full exam... at least if it's a Dr that knows anything... the last one didn't.
This Dr listened. I laid out all the details I had on what's been going on with my eyes. Turns out thyroid imbalance is a leading contributor to double vision in people my age... boy, I hate that term; but I guess it's just a statement of fact.
So, he agreed to just adjust the Rx for now. That's what I had hoped for this time. That coupled with the change in the thyroid Rx in December should show noted improvements... we'll see and if not, we'll try again.
I like his approach!!
