In an attempt to simplify things, I bought a timer for the outside faucet. That seemed like just what I needed with the soaker hoses. Just turn it on an forget it. Well... considering the faucet is between the office and the bathroom, I seem to now have a habit of running it about 15 minutes several times a day.
Do you know how big acorn squash plants get when they get that much water? Or how many and how large zucchini grow when so pampered?
I'm quickly finding out.
