You saw the photos of the Aero Garden. It is doing well. Lots of fun watching things grow in the winter time.
I know what to do with basil. The dill and mint are not in my normal repertoire for cooking.
Yesterday my friend needed fresh mint for a new salad recipe. She was borrowing my Salad master chopper for the other ingredients and happened to mention her need for the herb. She could not have been more surprised when I said, "I have some growing in my herb garden."
How wonderful it was to be able to fulfil her need. Shows again that there is always a reason...sometimes it just takes a while to be realized.
