Inside work today

I picked the last flower of summer last night. With a prediction of 22 degrees, I knew it would be gone by morning. Looks like it won't last much longer in here anyway.

When it is 37 degrees at 2:00 PM, you work inside where it is heated. We are having our first touch of winter this week. There was even a dusting of snow this morning. The brilliant sun took care of it quickly. Now the clouds are back and I would not be surprised if we did not have a little more tonight. Other than the water hose freezing, we are doing well for now in the cold.

The cold will be short lived. After a windy day tomorrow...they are always cold..we return to sunny skies and 60 degree temps by week's end. It's surprising how warm 60 degrees in the sun can be. Perfect weather for putting up siding and trim.
