First the weather...always an interesting topic. It is really trying to be Winter instead of Fall. Temps are 15 degrees below normal...makes you wonder what it will be like when Winter does arrive. It has looked like this a couple of times now...
We are staying warm enough with a frozen water supply being our greatest challenge in the cold.
There are still lots of days to work on the house. That's one of my favorite things about living here. Warm sun and cool breezes. Putting up siding is kinda like paining. Once you start,the house keeps growing...and growing. We will get this part of the job done..eventually. We have finsihed almost two sides along with building the front porch.
Other projects include bathtubs...no plumbing, yet; garage doors...you would not believe the number of pieces those things are in when they arrive; and decking...makes it easier to get to the work overhead. There is a lot going on even with Winter setting in.
