The heat broke today. It was only 105 degrees on my thermometer. Yes, that's cooler than it has been for the last week. We are finally able to work on the house again without suffering with the heat. It will be even cooler over the next few days. Highs in the 90s with a breeze makes working pleasant.
There will not be as many photos in the next few postings. We will be working on this roof for a while. Although we can see the changes, there is not much to show. Outriggers are not a significant enough change for a photo...although they took all day to put on...and that was one side.
It's really fun living here with the fawns that are coming out of the woods. It's always an exciting scene when you spot a doe with her baby...often two. Baby turkeys abound too. Travel around here is always an adventure.
