I have my wish

When I started on this search for someplace to live, I wanted a place where I could enjoy sun, snow and blue skies all at the same time. The little bits of snow that we get in the South just were not enough to satisfy the view that my mind's eye wanted. Well it looks like I have found one place that definitely deserves consideration.

You saw the storm photos yesterday. This is what the park looks like this morning.



Yes...it is May here too.

There will be a lot to learn about living with snow like this. The first is the noise as chunks fall from the truck, the roofs (especially ours) and the trees. Second is that you always have boots handy. I have only sneakers and open backed shoes...not quite prepared for this one.

The nice thing is that the roads have already been scraped and sanded. Traffic is moving past my window at a normal pace...this is definitely not the South.
