The venue was considerably cleaner!!! The plumbing held out for all three days!!! The mold had been removed!!! The backdrops were clean!! It was great. Still an old place; but at least not so dirty.
The attendees were excited about being there. There were very few complaints about the cost of things. Things were new and exciting again. These people planned to enjoy the hobby and were looking for things to help with that enjoyment. They were pleased when they found those things.
Business was wildly successful! The blue and green combination seems to generate a happy energy that the customers like.
Now for the fun part... being one of the few women in the business... and having been in the business for 22 years, I hold sort of a special place in this industry... or at least I think I do. These are my friends and I value them all.
There is one in particular who apparently I appeal to a little more than I even knew. I was greeted with compliments of being such a "girly girl".. not how I think of myself; but apparently he does.. This always make a woman feel good. Then the next night; this same man just could not contain himself. Upon seeing my derriere in the skinny jeans, he had to touch... both hands worth of touch!!! I was, to say the least, a little surprised... and a lot complimented. I think I'll wear those jeans more often!!!
So, at Dayton this year, I was carded for beer and the subject of a serious ass grab... and how old am I??? It was LOTS of fun.
