It's finally summer here. We will have a week... yes, only a week... of 90 degree temperatures. So, things are moving a little slowly. Needless to say, very little was done outside today.
With the few things we did, it was a day for unusual animals.
Never think that goats are not really smart... I saw a goat grazing beside a horse. No big deal you say until you realize that the goat is moving in the horse's shadow remaining close to its tail. The horse is making it cooler and keeping the flies off at the same time... smart goat!!
The second was a very unusual spider... or I think it was a spider??? It's lower portion looked like a small pine cone. It reminded me of the rock spider we found last year. Very unusual!!
