So, testing for the cable was today. Must arrive at the testing site at 9:00Am just to get the schedule... don't know why they can't publish these in advance.
The schedule... 11:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00, 6:00... yes, a different test at each scheduled time. Problem is, only two of them count for anything. The rest are testing by people who are trying to get certified as testers... or are there with other experimental equipment. What a farce and a waste of time.
Rod spent the entire day trying to get done early. He would get our device tested in the 55 minutes that remained in someone else's testing time after their device finished or failed. He managed to save an hour off the schedule. We could not wait together. Only he is registered and therefore allowed on the testing floor. So, I waited... boring!!
A train ride back into town. Dinner... more shopping... a relaxing evening.
