Cold Bar-B-Que

Years ago in the town in which I grew up a friend told me of using their gas grill for cooking during the winter.

When questioned of her sanity about venturing into the cold to cook she replied "It's not bad. You're never out there for long." You must remember that "not bad" was probably 15 degrees at the worst.

I thought of this friend tonight. It is 3 degrees with a wind chill of -6. Definitely too cold to cook on the grill...even if it is right outside the back door. We'll see if the broiler works on the stove. It will be easier with salmon fillets anyway.
