In those short few weeks, with a little help from the local carpenter, the siding and trim on the house are complete!!! We thank Scott for all his help getting the high places done. We could not have done it without him.
Besides the siding, the ceiling of the deck is done...the tongue-and-grove pine made a beautiful ceiling.
The deck on the back of the house is finished...less the posts and rails. The house has been dubbed the "boat house" and is in need of a body of water. The view of the pine trees suits us.
Sheetrock installation begins next week. It will be quite a job. The lift will help. Then garage doors to fill those holes that remain in the wall.
Each thing in order. It is quite amazing to learn ALL the things that go into a house...you never realize until you put one together yourself!!
