Snow vs hurricanes

Mosaic Mom lives in the land of hurricanes. During one especially active year of storms, Mosaic Mom described the TV newscasters as "heads". It seems that the "heads" are always trying to find something exciting to report. All they really seem to do is get the rest of us worried about the situation.

According to Mosaic Mom, the situation is usually not as bad as the "heads" make it out to be.

Mobilebabe now lives in the land of snow. The "heads" find snow just as exciting as hurricanes...or at least they try to.

Take the storm in Denver. Yes, the first was a problem...they sometimes are. The second was not nearly as bad...unless you asked the "heads". I guess they are paid to try.

If you want to know how bad the weather really is, ask someone who lives where it's happening. Snow here is like rain. Only occasionally is it anything to worry about.

Other than that...it sure is gorgeous when the sun shines on it.
