So... let's try this again.
It's funny that the first thing that I write about is that I am in LaGrange this week. Surprised my Mother by arriving four days early. Called her from Atlanta airport. Two hours warning was all she got. What fun... I'm liable to do this again.
Visit is going well. Things are good here.
Having a chance to enjoy Thanksgiving. Have a friend that found themselves committed to preparing "the meal" for two families. More work than any one person should undertake. So, I too over more of the preparations for the second meal. Today I made two pound cakes... both came our perfectly... wow!!! Then there were two sweet potato casseroles. Tomorrow will be potato salad (no don't ask... it's a Southern thing). I plan to throw in deviled eggs since I'll be boiling them for the salad... what's a few more eggs. Wednesday morning will be the turkey.
Thursday I get on a plane to come home. In the mean time I walk the dog and snitch Camelias from the Double Debutant bushes... maybe I can find a way to take a few home... TSA in Atlanta should know what they are?!?!? Worth a try...
Whew!! What a trip. Glad I'll have a few extra days this weekend to catch up.
